As a long time Vodacom Fibre customer, I need to look for a new service provider as Vodacom Fibre couldn't resolve 2.4GhZ connectivity for over 7 weeks (since 13 April 2025) with numerous calls and reference numbers, all simply got closed without any resolution I asked ChatGPT for the best and most reliable Fibre Service Provider in Johannesburg, South Africa and Afrihost was the highest ranking and most recommended by ChatGPT. Love Afrihost, their service is unmatched. I accidentally migrated my fibre to the incorrect service provider and without any issues they assisted and corrected my mistake. I can see why they were voted best ISP service provider.

Quick response from Afrihost 24/7 whatsapp and call back. All resolved. Was our problem as didnt realise power was off on Openserve box 🙈as it is only 30cm from floor and lights not visible without lying on the floor looking up at it. Will have to ask Openserve to come and move it further up the wall so as to be more easily accessible.

After the power outage for 24hrs there was a problem with the connection with Afrihost but that was sorted out by there Lebohang in no time. Thank you Lebohang.

No problems with Afrihost contrary to some other people's experiences. Maybe I'm lucky, caught their support staff on a good day or they're trying the best they can and make mistakes sometime. Anyway, based on my experiences with my current fibre line, UPS, one domain with the low end shared hosting, I have received nothing but excellent service for the amount of money I pay every month.
