I’ve used Afrihost for longer than I can remember. I’ve used them for adsl lines back in the day and then vdsl (I actually tested their fair use policy and made it on the top 10 highest data users in the country and not shaped or throttled once on a 20Mb vdsl line) I’ve used them for small businesses and I’ve been with their mobile data plan for years now and working in the IT industry, I’ve dealt with a lot of service providers and as a data provider.
I HIGHLY recommend Afrihost to everyone and anyone who has mtn! Use Afrihost data!
One down side is that they rely on third party companies (helkom, frogfoot and whoever) almost all the issues I’ve had are with the physical providers.
And Afrihost support has always been extremely helpful even with dealing with third parties like telkom.

Started with fibre, then LTE, now LTE once again. The fault fixing service is the best I have ever dealt with. And the agents are pretty good. Above all things, you’re communicating with a person, not a bot. I would sincerely recommend Afrihost to my nearest and dearest because I choose them for myself. With everyone's complaints regarding their providers, I'm really glad I went with Afrihost. The app is always updated and lets you know where an issue might be, while their staff and whatsapp chat never fails.

I've done quite a few websites for people and I always recommend they use afrihost. You can't beat that customer service anywhere. Everytime I have an issue building a website or setting up hosting for companies I contact them on whatsapp or mail their hosting team and they sort out the problem in minutes, not matter how bad you think it is. They simply make that problem go away. I'll never recommend anyone go anywhere else.
