I have had great service from the Afrihost walk-in centre in Rivonia Road.
My experience was only with LTE and the staff were very helpful and courteous.
I am streaming ('Teeveeing' - live UK TV) and using movie streaming apps.
I started using an older ZTE router but soon changed to the recommended TP-Link unit.
I also started off with the 20mbps package but again it was smoothly increased this to 50mbps.
I have now found 3 other local residents who are paying R699pm for speeds they don't need and who would also like to save R400pm using LTE.
The attitude of fibre-only companies who insist that they cannot reduce speed and cost for existing fibre users, will bite them in the backside as long as alternatives are around.

The best, all enquiries solved quickly, responce rate absolutely great. TANNER is the definition of Brilliance :D .Fairly easy platform (client zone) would recommend to anyone. I had to come back and add a few comments ;D absolutely great,tech wise am on 0, but i managed to built my own website with the aid of previous QnAs. So if a person who just knows word can do it mm just smiles.

Received the worst of assistance today. I was calling because my website was showing errors and and it said disc usage full in cpanel. The guy could only say they can't assist contact your web developer, I told him I created it using YouTube so I don't know what's wrong myself. Last time we had a similar problem it was resolved just aftr emailing. He advised to upgrade the package, but that's not the solution,even f I upgrade it wi still happen and you will say upgrade again. I already have 8 different packages with afrihost, I know this is busines but after so many years how can the only solution to my problem be upgrade the package clearly they are not keen on helping or just define the service provided to just 'hosting any other things its not our area'

Afrihost is the best Internet provider in SA. They constantly upgrade my line at no additional cost, the network is always stable, and I just received a free SIM card to test with 10G data and R100 worth of airtime. They understand the meaning of getting down to business and always being available when you need them most.

Quick and excellent service when I got my new fibre from afrihost. Been with other providers before but non of them are as fast as afrihost. After sales service is amazing and internet speeds are soaring high.

I’ve never had a problem with Afrihost they’re always fast to sort out any problems that I do have and website is user-friendly WhatsApp makes it user friendly as well
