I've been with afrihost for I think 8 years now. Today was the first time I encountered an outage that meant actual loss of service for more than an hour, and they were quick to assist me when I needed it. The problem still exists at the time of writing this, but they did reassure me that their engineers are actively working on restoring the service. They haven't failed me yet, so I trust them when they say service will be restored ASAP.

I’m an Afrihost customer for more than 8 years now, first with hosting, then LTe then ADSL & now fibre. Service is excellent as the WhatsApp help desk works perfectly. Their agents are well trained and ask the right questions (I’m in IT support). Minimal downtime, even with load shedding.

In the past, with Afrihost the phone experience was quite good. Agents listened, and came back with relevant - and generally accurate - feedback. On the other hand, my experience with WhatsApp is somewhat mixed. I have had good sessions there. But on one occasion an agent said he'd get back to me. He didn't, then he closed the chat. With the chat closed I can't hold him to account. I then thought I'd try again, so I started a new chat with a new agent. I gave her a summary of my query so she could mentally prepare for the chat we'd have. Instead she copied and pasted two paragraphs of sales material and closed the chat. I still don't have the answer I require. Also, the callback is a great idea, But not at 8:30AM. I appreciate the pressure you're under with call volumes, and the overall quality of service that Afrihost has maintained over the years. This is not a whinge, but pointers that I sincerely hope may help.
