My 2 year LTE contract with a mobile service provider ended in March 2020 - about the time when we had a national lockdown because of Covid-19. I have then decided to take the fibre option from one of the big cellular providers. These guys sent me from pillar to POST with the router, the temporary LTE and getting me up and running. When I contacted Afrihost, I have been assisted telephonically to determine my requirements. They've handled all the admin of cancelling the service which I did not receive from the other service provider and I have received my router on the same day. Afrihost did not dissapoint! It was the first time that I have received such great and quality service from a big brand in South Africa!!! I was able to work from home, with quality high speed internet!!! Placed an order for fibre on 06th July and fully set up on 12th July. Literally 6 days later, I'm super impressed with Afrihost & Vumatel and look forward to a good journey with both companies. I had a bit of a connection issue with my router, but after a 5 minute conversation on whatsapp with Sindile from Afrihost, my issue was resolved promptly and professionally. Thank you so much!

Afrihost is the one ISP that does not tie you to them with a long term contract. They even installed my fibre connection and gave me a wifi router free of charge and with absolutely no strings attached. They do however keep you tied to them by providing very good end-user support. There staff members are all knowledgeable, friendly and efficient in the manner in which they provide support.

Earlier in Sept I applied and made a payment to vumatel to have fiber installed at my premises. After a month and still waiting for my fibre to be installed and with no promises from vumatel. I decided to apply through Afrihost. Their agents were very helpful. They help me to clear my residence from vumatel and the other ISP hold. I applied for fibre through Afrihost and the following day the fire was installed. I am impressed on how they kept me updated on the progress to the final activation on my account. Keep up the good work Afrihorst.
