My 2 year LTE contract with a mobile service provider ended in March 2020 - about the time when we had a national lockdown because of Covid-19. I have then decided to take the fibre option from one of the big cellular providers. These guys sent me from pillar to POST with the router, the temporary LTE and getting me up and running. When I contacted Afrihost, I have been assisted telephonically to determine my requirements. They've handled all the admin of cancelling the service which I did not receive from the other service provider and I have received my router on the same day. Afrihost did not dissapoint! It was the first time that I have received such great and quality service from a big brand in South Africa!!! I was able to work from home, with quality high speed internet!!! INCREDIBLE SERVICE! For the first time since our installation our fibre line went off. So on a Sunday morning I tried out the Whatsapp Service and spoke to Thulanie. He was very helpful but I wasn't expecting a solution at least for a few days... 3 hours didn't pass when Thabang (the technician) phoned me and said he was at my gate. He was kind and most helpful. I'm beyond grateful that our line was fixed at such a speedy pace and with such a great attitude from both Thulanie and Thabang. This gives me so much hope for our country!
