Afrihost is great !!!! Vumatel is useless and they have monopoly in areas, this needs to be addressed. This picture shows how they place a box - underground on the neighbours property, damaged by ants and now dampness and they see nothing wrong!

My 2 year LTE contract with a mobile service provider ended in March 2020 - about the time when we had a national lockdown because of Covid-19. I have then decided to take the fibre option from one of the big cellular providers. These guys sent me from pillar to POST with the router, the temporary LTE and getting me up and running.
When I contacted Afrihost, I have been assisted telephonically to determine my requirements. They've handled all the admin of cancelling the service which I did not receive from the other service provider and I have received my router on the same day.
Afrihost did not dissapoint! It was the first time that I have received such great and quality service from a big brand in South Africa!!! I was able to work from home, with quality high speed internet!!!
Afrihost is the BEST!... By far!

Great app, great low cost data, and when I signed up they had 1GB free per month which is rad as it carries over at least a month far as I recall. I initially got them for a data sim (dual SIM) but I liked them so much now I even use them for my mobile network as well! Little known gem, but big in the tech space! No more expensive charges per gig by the main networks punishing small bundle users and forcing you to buy bigger bundles just in case you go over, it's R30 per 1GB here and you can BUY per 1GB.. and their bigger bundles (buying above 3 gigs) are even cheaper if you do know! I've raved about the network but I also find the app UI great with being able to customise the dashboard shortcuts which is all I need.
Feature request: please allow more than one SIM card per email account though, I had errors trying to set this up, it got very complicated.

Is the first time I use afrihost services. Is the best of the best compared to my previous service providers. I can definitely refer it to anyone who needs uninterrupted internet.

So far so good. I am enjoying the overall experience. The internet service is fantastic – it has its rare shortfalls, but a perfect world is boring right?!
The customer service, however, is a hit and miss (to be fair, it is over 60% a hit in my experience). It depends on who takes the call.
Some agents are great, some can do with a little to a lot of help (again, depends on who takes the call) with customer service delivery.
