I promised and update and here it is (albeit a few years late :-)). I've had a great experience with Afrihost. I think they provide value for your money and the speeds are good! Recently signed up for Afrihost fibre to the home (pure fiber 10/10) through vumatel. Very easy setup and installation. I collected the router and set it up myself at home with help via WhatsApp. Friendly and helpful staff on the WhatsApp helpline. Need to test speed once all my devices are up and running. But so far so good! Long may it last. My only issue and the reason for the 3 star rating and not 5 stars is that I had to follow-up on every step from confirming they had the right info with vumatel to my router being ready for collection. These are simple things to keep a client updated about. I shouldn't have to call the helpline for this. I will update my review once I have tested the speed.

Been a long-time fibre subscriber and have absolutely nothing to complain about. The speeds are always constant and the connection stable. And then we get this real value for money promos from time to time. I just upgraded to 3 x my normal bandwidth with my current subscription price locked in for a year! That's phreaking awesome Afrihost!

I needed assistance. Contacted Afrihost via their WhatsApp helpline. Query was handled promptly and professionally by knowledgeable agent (Thabiso D). Given the attitude of so many other 'service' (?) providers, this was a very pleasant surprise.
