I have been with a handful of ISP’s over the years. They have all been relatively good since fibre has come due to the networks being so stable. But o will say that in terms of helpfulness and customer care, Afrihost have been really a cut above. I am fussy and I’m also in tech so I’m used to the textbook support that is geared to cover all levels of understanding. But I have been very impressed with Afrihost. Their attitude has been superb which matter more than anything. They are so keen to help wher other ISP’s often give you the “that’s just how it is” responses. Generalizing, of course, but overall I am very happy with Afrihost and don’t think I will change in a hurry. Pricing is all so similar anyway and it comes down to service.

I received assistance from a gentleman by the name Hector N. I had an issue with my router as I spilled water on it, which made it switch off, then I dried it, waited for a day or two, then tried it again, then it switched back on, but there were no WAN options to choose from. 1. Firstly, Hector helped me understand the functions of an ONT, the LAN cable, the router and how all these three parts make up what connects me to the internet. 2. The router was clearly damaged, so we tried another, the access points of the new router showed up but there was no internet 3. Hector suggested I get a new router then he taught me how to do the activation so I don't need to reach out to Afrihost again This was such an eye opening session and I give Hector a 10/10, Afrihost as well, I have been with them since 2017 and I am still a happy customer

I am new to afrihost but I don't have complaints. If you have a problem it gets attended and resolved quickly. You don't have to wait long to get assisted. I am impressed. I will recommend it to anyone.
