Support above and beyond!
I have been dealing with them since 2H 2018 when I joined them to host my website. I developed and set up my website myself. I mostly Googled what to do. When I got stuck their support people gave me advice. Not their job or responsibility! Yet they are there when help is needed.
Just this week, I got stuck setting up my email account on my new Laptop. Again! Not their responsibility, yet I have been helped!
I am on Afrihost fibre service as well for about 5 months now (2022). Had an Internet problem this morning which was not on their side. Yet, their support stuck with me, and helped me to get it sorted.
Judging by comments on social media, and from experience with my previous Internet service provider, I can only imagine the response from other service providers. "All is OK on our side sir". ie Sort out your own bloody problem.
Not with Afrihost!
Their support is what truly sets them apart from other service providers!

I had a problem where my phone number had somehow got mixed up with another account. I therefore kept getting messages on my phone about someone else's account. I contacted Afrihost via WhatsApp and Jackson sorted out the problem in no time at all. Great service.

The best internet experience ever, especially now where almost everyone requires some form of internet to work from home and/or support the kids to do school work. I started with LTE and now moved to fibre. I'm happy with Afrihost.

In the past, with Afrihost the phone experience was quite good. Agents listened, and came back with relevant - and generally accurate - feedback. On the other hand, my experience with WhatsApp is somewhat mixed. I have had good sessions there. But on one occasion an agent said he'd get back to me. He didn't, then he closed the chat. With the chat closed I can't hold him to account. I then thought I'd try again, so I started a new chat with a new agent. I gave her a summary of my query so she could mentally prepare for the chat we'd have. Instead she copied and pasted two paragraphs of sales material and closed the chat. I still don't have the answer I require.
Also, the callback is a great idea, But not at 8:30AM.
I appreciate the pressure you're under with call volumes, and the overall quality of service that Afrihost has maintained over the years. This is not a whinge, but pointers that I sincerely hope may help.
