Highly recommend afrihost, whatever you do don't sign up with vodacom. No client service, no truth and not worth it. Afrihost is the way to go.

I’ve recently changed to Afrihost. I relocated and had to book a reinstallation. They were quick to act and arrange a team to come and do the setup. Installation team was friendly and the after hours support is also friendly. Good rates too!

Support and help is fast and great, but there is a problem enforcing SLAs with the fibre network provider. Afrihost hand the problem over to Metrofibre but then their hands is cut of. Thanks for that service. My problem does not reside with Afrihost but with the Fibre network provider. I have a fibre problem now for 3 weeks running and the fibre provider by name Mertofibre does not come out to fix or don't know how to fix the problem. Waiting now 2 weeks for Metrofibre technician to call me or show up. I have VERY SLOWWWW speed. Worse then a 64 k dial-up modem.

My 2 year LTE contract with a mobile service provider ended in March 2020 - about the time when we had a national lockdown because of Covid-19. I have then decided to take the fibre option from one of the big cellular providers. These guys sent me from pillar to POST with the router, the temporary LTE and getting me up and running. When I contacted Afrihost, I have been assisted telephonically to determine my requirements. They've handled all the admin of cancelling the service which I did not receive from the other service provider and I have received my router on the same day. Afrihost did not dissapoint! It was the first time that I have received such great and quality service from a big brand in South Africa!!! I was able to work from home, with quality high speed internet!!!
