Good quality fiber, stable internet. Working frome is a breeze having Afrihost as my ISP. Call center staff is well trained and the what's app chat functionality actually works great. Best move I have made. Been with this supplier now for 3 years. Never had any problems and never felt n smidgen of disappointment. Thanks guys.

My service stopped unexpectedly last night. This morning I connected with Afrihost via their WhatsApp chat (link was in monthly email). The service was prompt and efficient. The agent refreshed my line and I powered down for 5 five minutes and service was back. Fortunately I had mobile data to use WhatsApp, otherwise it would be a problem. 😁

Although 1 or 2 customer service agents aren't that nice to talk with when, if ever, an issue occurs. The service delivered by Afrihost is amazing, they are prompt and there is almost no connectivity issues. Will always recommend Afrihost.

Always great service, have not had any issues or complaints regarding the provider. Agents are always efficient and does what is required "that is worth saying something considering call centres today in over all".

Afrihost has really been the best throughout. I've been using afrihost since 2018 and can truelly say there has been no hiccups. I did a relocate with them which has been done in less than a week. I'd highly recommend afrihost to anyone looking for a solid internet connection.

One of the best ISP’s - Afrihost. I would recommend to anyone if they seek excellent customer service. There’s an option of a “Call Me Back” on their website/app if you need to speak to an agent. They call you back within a minute.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE BY COMFORT AT AFRIHOST I was without Wi-Fi/ Internet/ WhatsApp for 20 hours. My 5 year old D-Link Modem (Router) packed-up. The fibre network at our home was installed by Vumatel but it is serviced by Afrihost. Comfort, a lady working at Afrihost provided outstanding customer service this morning. The old D-Link router was reset, various logins attempts were made and she came to the conclusion that the router had come to the end of its life. She quickly organised a replacement modem (at no cost to me) and offered me the option of having the new modem delivered to our premises or I could collect the device from Afrihost. I chose the latter as I was in a great hurry to get back to the internet. My WiFi/ Internet/ WhatsApp are now up and running and back to normal. What a relief! Kudos to Comfort who is very knowledgeable and professional and Kudos to Afrihost👏👍👌5 Star Service⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Each and every query I ever had has taken longer than 5 minutes to resolve. Today I spent less than 5 minutes on a chat with an agent named Tshepisho and my query was resolved within less than 5 minutes. I must say I am impressed as service is getting more and more smooth each time🫡🤭

Been with Afrihost since August 2018. Almost never have outage issues and when there is it's fixed within the same day. They understand that working from home, we can't afford to be down for days at a time! And their customer service is always on point!

General terms

Although we endeavour to keep our coverage data as accurate as possible, we are reliant on the maps provided to us by Openserve, which may sometimes have slight inaccuracies.
The advertised line speeds are a representation of the maximum possible throughput on that package. This speed is dependent on and varies from exchange to exchange as regulated by Openserve. In certain areas, some speeds are not achievable.
Due to Openserve infrastructure restrictions, some line speeds may not be available in your area. Check coverage in your area to see which packages are available in your area.
All Pure DSL packages are subject to an Acceptable Use Policy.
Pure DSL accounts are locked to a single location. The location it gets locked to is the location you supply during sign up.
Regular Openserve copper line required to apply for a Pure DSL package. A voice line, however, is not required.
Performance is subject to contention. This means that data speeds and latency may be affected by factors outside of Afrihost’s control or demand for bandwidth at any given time.

Getting started with Pure DSL

Unlike regular DSL, you do NOT need to pay for a voice landline that you don’t even use. With Pure DSL you only pay for the DSL line rental and data - saving you more than R200 every month!

Once you’ve signed up for a Pure DSL package, Openserve will have to install the new DSL services at your premises. This can take up to 14 working days.

Checking Pure DSL coverage

Use our Coverage Tool to check if DSL is available in your area.

No, not all line speeds will be available in all covered areas. This is because of infrastructure restrictions on Openserve’s side. Please use our Coverage Tool to check which packages are available in your area.

If DSL is not available in your area, we’ll check if any of our other data solutions are available. You can also choose to give us your details and we’ll let you know as soon as one of our Internet solutions becomes available in your area.

Yes, the price you see is the price you pay! All Pure DSL packages are bundled, so the price is for both your data and the line rental, all-inclusive.

No, if you sign up with Pure DSL today, we will cover the setup fee of R999. Please note that this is a limited offer and Afrihost reserves the right to change this at any time.

Yes, you’ll need an existing copper line at your premises to connect to Pure DSL. You do not, however, need to pay for voice line rental to get connected to Pure DSL. You only need to pay for the DSL line rental and data.

Please note that because Pure DSL is a separate service from regular DSL, Openserve will have to install the new DSL services at your premises. This can take up to 14 working days.

Unfortunately Openserve will NOT do any new installations of copper lines.

Yes, you can use any DSL-ready Wi-Fi modem with Pure DSL. Need a new modem? Check out our DSL Modems and Wi-Fi page for more information.

Yes, Pure DSL packages are locked to a single location.

Yes, existing Afrihost DSL clients can sign up for Pure DSL.

Please note, however, that Pure DSL is a service separate from your existing DSL Internet. You’ll have to sign up for a new package via our website and Openserve will have to install new DSL services at your premises.
