The place is very nice and delightful. When you get there the upfront personnel will check you in, and ask you to wait until your number is called. In the waiting room the staff actually offers water and coffee. I have been there 5 times and the waiting period is no more than 10 minutes. The staff at the counter are very sympathetic, friendly, and fast. The decoration is great too and the way Afrihost separated the counters from each other truly makes you feel that you are been attended at a small office. Also I have been using Afrihost for about 4 months now and I completely love it, my boss also has it in her house and she also likes it and never complained about it.

My SIM card wasn't working, we ran through the diagnostics and although we couldn't resolve the problem, the operator didn't hesitate to escalate to their critical department. It's really a pleasure when you are treated with promptness. Well done on training your operators really well!!!

I was struggling to upload my proof of address for 4days at least 2hrs a day, on the App, ClientZone, W/App and many E-mails. I was starting to get very annoyed and frustrated and contemplating to cancel the whole package. Up-and-Till today (29th Dec "22) via W/App, Musa Khumalo helped me, what a pleasure, my problem was sorted, Musa was persistent to sort my problem and did not give in to my sometimes sarcastic arrogant remarks. Thank You Musa Khumalo...Viva Musa...Musa for PRESIDENT...👍🏻💪🏻👊🏻🤟🏻

Great service from the get-go. I run all my domains via Afrihost, and all my clients' websites, and now I've just applied for fibre. So let's see how it goes. For now 5 stars

It was a pleasure to have been helped by Nonhle. It took a bit of time. But my problem was fixed with a bit of patience. It is good to be associated with Afrihost. They go out of their way to assist. Excellent service provider.

Had a less than ideal experience with someone from support because they immediately thought they were addressing my issue instead of listening. I then called back and was met with someone else who took the time to ask questions 1st to fully understand the issue before working on the solution and hence knocking it out of the park.

(Translated by Google) I would recommend Afrihost anytime. Their service is great and feedback on an issue is quick. They just make everything easier. Good service is rare in South Africa. (Original) Ek sal enige tyd Afrihost aanbeveel. Hulle diens is puik en terugvoer oor 'n kwessie is vinnig. Hulle maak alles net makliker. Goeie diens is skaars in Suid Afrikaans.

I have mostly been quite happy with the Afrihost services that I continue to benefit from. The domains, email packages, and fiber are maintained in near perfect status with little to no downtime. My queries are always resolved timeously and satisfactorily.

Getting started with Pure DSL

How is Pure DSL different from other DSL products?

Unlike regular DSL, you do NOT need to pay for a voice landline that you don’t even use. With Pure DSL you only pay for the DSL line rental and data - saving you more than R200 every month!

How to get connected to Pure DSL

Follow our Getting Connected guide for step-by-step instructions.

How long will it take to get connected?

Once you’ve signed up for a Pure DSL package, Openserve will have to install the new DSL services at your premises. This can take up to 14 working days.

Checking Pure DSL coverage

How to check if you have Pure DSL coverage in your area

Use our Coverage Tool to check if DSL is available in your area.

Will all line speeds be available in covered areas?

No, not all line speeds will be available in all covered areas. This is because of infrastructure restrictions on Openserve’s side. Please use our Coverage Tool to check which packages are available in your area.

If you do not have Pure DSL coverage in your area

If DSL is not available in your area, we’ll check if any of our other data solutions are available. You can also choose to give us your details and we’ll let you know as soon as one of our Internet solutions becomes available in your area.

Shaping and prioritisation

Are your DSL packages shaped?

No, all Pure DSL packages are uncapped, unshaped and unthrottled. There are no usage thresholds so you can use as much data as you like, whenever you like. No throttling or shaping will be applied.

General questions

Is the price of the DSL line included in the package price?

Yes, the price you see is the price you pay! All Pure DSL packages are bundled, so the price is for both your data and the line rental, all-inclusive.

Will I have to pay a setup fee?

No, if you sign up with Pure DSL today, we will cover the setup fee of R999. Please note that this is a limited offer and Afrihost reserves the right to change this at any time.

Do I need a copper line to use Pure DSL?

Yes, you’ll need an existing copper line at your premises to connect to Pure DSL. You do not, however, need to pay for voice line rental to get connected to Pure DSL. You only need to pay for the DSL line rental and data.

Please note that because Pure DSL is a separate service from regular DSL, Openserve will have to install the new DSL services at your premises. This can take up to 14 working days.

I do not have a copper line, can I get one installed?

Unfortunately Openserve will NOT do any new installations of copper lines.

Can I use my current DSL modem?

Yes, you can use any DSL-ready Wi-Fi modem with Pure DSL. Need a new modem? Check out our DSL Modems and Wi-Fi page for more information.

Will my Pure DSL package be locked to a single location?

Yes, Pure DSL packages are locked to a single location.

Can existing Afrihost DSL clients get Pure DSL?

Yes, existing Afrihost DSL clients can sign up for Pure DSL.

Please note, however, that Pure DSL is a service separate from your existing DSL Internet. You’ll have to sign up for a new package via our website and Openserve will have to install new DSL services at your premises.

Follow our Getting Connected guide for instructions on how to get Pure DSL.

Please note that if you change from an older Afrihost DSL package to Pure DSL, you will NOT be able to change back.
