✨I definitely refer AFRIHOST as NO. 1 SERVICE PROVIDER✨ in South Africa ... (should extend to Europe cos THEY'RE JUST BRILLIANT) I have all my accounts with Afrihost and have without a doubt, the best service an Internet Service Provider can offer. Their staff goes above and beyond in assisting with any technical issues you have. You have so many options of communication to choose from, WhatsApp, email, help section on website or call them. Doesn't matter what time of the day it is - Afrihost is there to assist - I had late night problems and they still called back - the WhatsApp service is brilliant - quick and easy! I have had nothing but great service from Afrihost in the 3 years i have been with them! Thanks Afrihost and keep up your GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I'm a Vuma Reach client & also the admin on a WhatsApp support group for Vuma Reach in my community. From my personal experience as a client & an unofficial support for the community Fibre issues, I personally would recommend Afrihost as the best choice for a Vuma Reach ISP.

We moved over to Afrihost on a friends recommendation about 8 years ago, and have never looked back or regretted the move. Honestly the best and fastest service ever received from an ISP. I signed up last night at around 10pm Musa on the whatsapp chat was so extremely helpful and got my line up within an hour, not even 24hours after signup and i was operational as i had a router and ONT was already in. Thanks Team

I've been with Afrihost since 2021 and they are great. There are slight issues with the internet now and again but not hectic enough that it ruins my day or my experience. They are always on point and their whatsapp team is awesome❤️

General terms

Although we endeavour to keep our coverage data as accurate as possible, we are reliant on the maps provided to us by Openserve, which may sometimes have slight inaccuracies.
The advertised line speeds are a representation of the maximum possible throughput on that package. This speed is dependent on and varies from exchange to exchange as regulated by Openserve. In certain areas, some speeds are not achievable.
Due to Openserve infrastructure restrictions, some line speeds may not be available in your area. Check coverage in your area to see which packages are available in your area.
All Pure DSL packages are subject to an Acceptable Use Policy.
Pure DSL accounts are locked to a single location. The location it gets locked to is the location you supply during sign up.
Regular Openserve copper line required to apply for a Pure DSL package. A voice line, however, is not required.
Performance is subject to contention. This means that data speeds and latency may be affected by factors outside of Afrihost’s control or demand for bandwidth at any given time.

Getting started with Pure DSL

Unlike regular DSL, you do NOT need to pay for a voice landline that you don’t even use. With Pure DSL you only pay for the DSL line rental and data - saving you more than R200 every month!

Once you’ve signed up for a Pure DSL package, Openserve will have to install the new DSL services at your premises. This can take up to 14 working days.

Checking Pure DSL coverage

Use our Coverage Tool to check if DSL is available in your area.

No, not all line speeds will be available in all covered areas. This is because of infrastructure restrictions on Openserve’s side. Please use our Coverage Tool to check which packages are available in your area.

If DSL is not available in your area, we’ll check if any of our other data solutions are available. You can also choose to give us your details and we’ll let you know as soon as one of our Internet solutions becomes available in your area.

Yes, the price you see is the price you pay! All Pure DSL packages are bundled, so the price is for both your data and the line rental, all-inclusive.

No, if you sign up with Pure DSL today, we will cover the setup fee of R999. Please note that this is a limited offer and Afrihost reserves the right to change this at any time.

Yes, you’ll need an existing copper line at your premises to connect to Pure DSL. You do not, however, need to pay for voice line rental to get connected to Pure DSL. You only need to pay for the DSL line rental and data.

Please note that because Pure DSL is a separate service from regular DSL, Openserve will have to install the new DSL services at your premises. This can take up to 14 working days.

Unfortunately Openserve will NOT do any new installations of copper lines.

Yes, you can use any DSL-ready Wi-Fi modem with Pure DSL. Need a new modem? Check out our DSL Modems and Wi-Fi page for more information.

Yes, Pure DSL packages are locked to a single location.

Yes, existing Afrihost DSL clients can sign up for Pure DSL.

Please note, however, that Pure DSL is a service separate from your existing DSL Internet. You’ll have to sign up for a new package via our website and Openserve will have to install new DSL services at your premises.
