Our directors are accomplished in various fields, holding several degrees and diplomas between them. Their pedigree also includes having held various executive and management positions in some of South Africa’s leading technology companies. Their passion for delivering excellent products, and even more excellent client service, came from humble beginnings. No matter how the company grows, we will never forget its roots when our CEO, Gian Visser, started the company in his bedroom and created the revolutionary idea that is Afrihost.

Nicknamed “The A Team”, they love it when a plan comes together - whether you need help reconciling your account, making special payment arrangements, or just to have a friendly chat about getting the most out of your account. Not many people would know, but we’re blessed to have the cream of the Server Admin crop running our hardware and network infrastructure. If it’s physical hardware, it has to start from somewhere. Our Hardware team builds and maintains all the server hardware that gets deployed to our data centres, ensuring that the highest quality and stringent standards are maintained on every deployment. Our hardware team also looks after all the gadgets that our clients purchase via our website and ensure that Routers, Mobile Devices and SIMS are shipped with care and in due time to the right places. But that’s not all - they also keep all our staff in keyboards, mice and monitors, so they play an important role in making sure that we have everything we need to deliver amazeballs client service.

You may never come into contact with our Operations team, but they’re responsible for a lot what makes Afrihost awesome. They feed us, drive us, take care of our space and even tidy up behind us, so that we can stay completely focussed on delivering Pure Internet Joy to you. From our awesome catering team who feed us delicious meals every day (and night), to our team of awesome and super-courteous drivers who run up and down daily to make sure everything is where it should be - even our personal trainer who keeps us healthy and fit. And let’s not forget our Interior Design team who create the amazing workspace that allows us to be creatively and consistently awesome!
